Carrolwood

Date: Nov. 2018

In 2014, Gouzel got a lead on Zillow.com.  She quickly responded to the request, which is typically time sensitive given the Zillow’s competitive system.  After the initial meeting with the prospect, Gouzel and Pamela started working together.  Pamela, was relocating in connection with her job transfer to Tampa Bay, and had a particular home in mind.  Gouzel was able to identify several homes, and Pamela fell in love with a nice house in the old Carrollwood, which she eventually bought!

Gouzel and Pamela stayed in touch over the years.  Four years later, Pamela reached out to Gouzel – now she wanted her to sell the house, as she was retiring and moving back to her family to Jacksonville.  In November of 2018, Gouzel sold the house at its listing price despite a very competitive market.

In 2016, Gouzel’s husband asked her to help his co-worker, Dave, find a house.  This was one of the most overheated sellers markets in recent years, as the existing and new home inventory was not sufficient to meet the pent-up demand accumulated during years following the financial downturn.  The house prices were rising, and seemed like every home Gouzel was showing Dave was either already under contract or received numerous offers.  After searching for several months, Dave decided to renew his lease and wait another year.  In spring of 2017, they found a beautiful lake front house in Land-O-Lakes overlooking a bird sanctuary.  This was a home worth waiting for!

Through her prospecting efforts, Gouzel contacted Mark, who had been trying to sell his home since 2011.  Over the 5 years, Mark changed several real estate brokers who were not able to sell his home. After an initial meeting with Gouzel in February 2016, Mark signed a listing agreement trusting Gouzel could sell his most valuable investment - his home. The home was very unique and featured direct views of Gulf of Mexico; the issue was that the house was smaller than neighboring properties.  Right from the start, Gouzel understood that she would have to walk an extra mile to communicate the properties long term potential through beautiful drone photography and relentless marketing.  But she was running against the clock because Mark agreed to a very tight 3-month listing agreement!.. Her hard work paid off!  In May of 2016, the house was sold for $400,000 to a couple relocating from Hawaii.

"When deciding to have Gouzel represent me in the sale of my  property, I found her to be prepared, and, not only in knowledge, but, also ready to sell.  Gouzel sold my house. Given the opportunity, she'll sell yours too."
