Bexley – Part 2- David Weekly and Cardel Homes

There are several major builders represented at Bexley, such as Cardel Homes, David Weekly Homes, Homes by WestBay, Lennar Homes, ICI Homes, Arthur Rutenberg, and Del Webb. Below, we showcase David Weekly and Cardel Homes.


David weekly is showcasing several models of its Manor Series and Cottage and Village Series homes.  For those of you who do not like taking care of the lawn, Cottage Series homes is a perfect choice. Starting from high 2200 and up to low 2800 square feet, Cottage homes are situated on a 50 foot lots and do not have a back yard and no space for a pool. But do have a front porch! An interesting design connecting garage and home via lanai! Starting at $344,000 for its 3-bedroom floor plan and going up to $385,000 for its 5-bedroom configuration.


You can choose a more conventional home with a back yard and an optional pool making your selection from their Village or Manor Series homes situated on 60 or 70 foot lots respectfully, starting from its smallest 2600 sq foot home and priced at $388,000 and as big as 3800 sq ft priced at $557,000 for its 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home offering separate study, formal dining and upstairs retreat and game room.

I wish I could say more about Cardel Homes; maybe I will be luckier to learn about them in another community in the future.

The Preserve by D.R Horton, Odessa FL

This video is about a brand new community located in Odessa FL, off State Road 54 and 2 minutes drive to Suncoast Parkway. The Preserve will be comprised of over a thousand homesites and will offer a wide range of single-family homes as well as townhomes.


D.R Horton has started sales for its Phase 1 consisting of more than 200 single family homes offering 16 different floor plans ranging in size from smallest 1500 square feet 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home and going up to 3500 square foot home with 5 bedrooms that can accommodate a large family.


All of the homes at The Preserve are concrete block construction on both first and second floor and comes with an Ultimate smart Home Automation package. What I also like about homes by D.R. Horton, that you have a choice between a Preferred series homes where you can modify finishes of cabinets and floor coverings and Express Series homes where D.R Horton designers are already selected the best combination of colors and finishes that eliminate guess work on your part and thus save a lot of your time. You buy what you see! All you need to do is choose one of the 6 pre-selected color packages. Another great feature that I noticed in D.R. Horton homes is installed hardware on the exterior of the home around all windows and doors for mounting hurricane shutters.


As of today, there are several available Quick Move-In Homes discounted anywhere from $5K to $11K thousand dollars. You can buy a 1500 square foot 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 car garage home for as low as $240,000. So far, it is the most affordable new construction home I have seen this year.


The Preserve has a low monthly HOA as well as CDD fees that take of its Community Amenities such as clubhouse, fitness center, family and adult pools, playground and soccer fields. For those of you that enjoy walking and bicycling there is a walking trail with a resident’s access to the Suncoast Trail.

Chapel Chase by Taylor Morrison

Taylor Morrison at Wesley Chapel FL. broke ground for a new community that is called Chapel Chase. It has 86 lots for 86 boutique homes.


Taylor Morrison is offering 5 Floor plans including both 1 and 2 story homes ranging in size between 2,000 and 3,400 square feet. And let me tell you this, I found this perfect 3-bedroom home with a separate study. This is the best floor plan I have seen so far with a perfect combination of price, flow of space and functionality.


The base price for homes at Chapel Chase is starting at $277,000 and up to $357,000. The best part though, there is no CDD, which is very common nowadays for a new development and no flood insurance required.  Community HOA fees are only $103 a month and it covers upkeep of common areas, neighborhood park, toddler park as well as trash removal.

Taylor Morrison is offering $10,000 off its Quick move-in homes. There are currently 4 homes waiting for a new owner that will be ready this April. You can buy this perfect 3/2 home for as low as $314,000!


Should you decide to choose your lot and build a home, the builder is offering a 50% discount for upgrades if you spend $15,000 in options at the design center as well as closing cost assistance of $7,500 if you use Taylor Morrison Home Funding.

Chapel Chase by Taylor Morrison

Bexley by Newland Communities is located on State Road 54 in Land O Lakes FL.

Bexley is situated on 18,000 acres, 12,000 of which are the nature preserve. It was named BEST community twice in one year and offers award-winning amenities, such as clubhouse with a café and bike shop, lap pool with kids splash zone, fitness center, open air game room and miles of multi –modal trail system for nature walks and bicycling as well as dog park, soccer field, BMX park and various built and natural play areas.


Today I stopped by Homes by West Bay. They offer several Quick Move-In homes available for purchase ranging in size and priced between $335,000 and $420,000 Some homes are already marked with a $25,000 discount, and you can still get another $5,000 off towards your closing costs. I was also told, that you can basically get a $17,000 in price reduction for any base prices home in addition to a $5,000 towards your closing costs. As you can see, Homes by West bay offer a variety of home options, ranging in size from low 1600 to 3300 square feet with a Starting Price as low as $262,000.

The Reserve at Long Lake Ranch Estate

Long Lake Ranch is a beautiful master-planned community located here in Lutz, FL; just off State Road 54, and a short 5 minutes drive to Veterans Hwy.

Just wanted to give you a quick update what’s cooking there now. As you see, some of the families already moved in and there are still several available homes for a Quick Move–In and …check this out… M/I homes are offering $25,000 off any regular priced homes! Plus, up to $7,500 in closing costs assistance when using M/I Financial services.

We are just passing by the Future Amenity center that will include community pool, gazebos, and tennis and basketball courts. And it should be fully completed by the end of 2019.
